Absolute Matt Emulsion Paint Our most popular paint, Absolute Matt Emulsion is a beautiful, chalky, matt finish which is perfect for interior walls and ceilings. With a ‘barely there’ low-sheen level of just 3%, Absolute Matt provides a sublime chalky finish, often referred to as ‘dead matt’ or ‘flat matt’ paint. It dries to an incredibly flat finish that exudes character. The high-pigment levels within the paint provide a rich depth of colour which means you’ll need fewer coats to achieve the perfect finish. Absolute Matt can be wiped with a damp cloth or sponge making it practical for the modern home too. It can be used on a range of surfaces including walls, ceilings and plaster work. It’s the perfect choice for low-traffic areas such as bedrooms, living rooms, dining spaces, and study areas. A traditional, breathable finish ideal for internal lime or natural plaster walls and an excellent choice for heritage projects too. Containing zero added VOCs, Absolute Matt Emulsion is kind to the environment. It is also pet-friendly and certified as child-safe paint, under BS EN71-3:2019 (Toy Paint Regulations).
