Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Heavyside Sales and Products Leader to drive the sales and growth of our heavyside product range. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, overseeing product portfolios, and building strong relationships with suppliers, This is a leadership role requiring in-depth industry knowledge and a proven track record in sales, customer relations, and team management within the builders' merchant sector.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead and manage the sales strategy for heavyside products (e.g., bricks, blocks, aggregates, timber, drainage, roofing).

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and building sector.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, and suppliers.

  • Oversee product pricing, inventory, and supply chain logistics in collaboration with procurement teams.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to analyse market data and develop strategic sales plans.

Our N&C Tiles and Bathroom outlets provide our customers with the most exciting product ranges and best value packages in the industry.



 



We seek a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment and facilities through preventive maintenance, swift repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives. The company manufactures tiling adhesives, floor screeds, and associated products so a background in this industry would be advantageous but not essential. The company specializes in mixing powder products and filling them into sacks and uses an FFS machine to fill others, they also produce pastes, liquids, and ancillary products.



 



Key Responsibilities:



 




  • Perform and improve planned maintenance on all equipment.

  • Perform and improve reactive maintenance on all equipment.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults to minimize downtime.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during all tasks.

  • Collaborate with the production team to improve equipment performance and efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.

  • Part of the health and safety committee.



 



Requirements:



 




  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.

  • Qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field (NVQ, HND, Degree, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Flexibility to work shifts and respond to emergencies when required.

  • Counterbalance and reach truck trained (not essential).

Credit Control Administration Assistant

Location: Chadwell Heath, Romford Essex

Role: Credit Control Administration Assistant - Full Time, Permanent

Nicholls and Clarke are currently looking for a Credit Control Administration Assistant to join their successful team, based in Chadwell Heath, Romford.

Key Responsibilities for Credit Control Administration Assistant include:




  • Open/Sort Post Daily

  • Send post out at end of day

  • Receive and Process New Account Applications

  • Run online Credit Reports for new account applications and some existing accounts

  • Collate all New Account paperwork and pass to Credit Manager for approval

  • Enter approved accounts onto Kerridge system and send approved new details to branches

  • Send rejected accounts memo’s to branches advising of rejection

  • Send emails to applicant offering Proforma/Cash Account terms

  • Sales Ledger Cash (BACS) (Cheques) & (Credit Cards) – Sort and enter onto Kerridge daily

  • Input daily BACS payments onto a spreadsheet.

  • Once posted on the accounts allocate all payments to invoices/credits on the customer account throught the Cashbook

  • Hold/File Bacs remittance Advices

  • Type General Correspondence/Reports for Credit Manager

  • General Filing



Some knowledge of Credit Control would be advantageous as there may involve some calls to customers.



Must be used to a busy environment but would suit someone that just wants to come in and get on with their work without too many interruptions.



Key Requirements for the Credit Control Administration Assistant:




  • Accurate Data Keying

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to multitask, work to deadlines in a fast-paced work environment, as well as independently and as part of a team

Job Description



Key Responsibilities:




  • Checking goods and wrapping pallets prior to loading

  • Delivering goods in a professional manner

  • Assembling orders when necessary.

  • Due to the nature of the business and the needs of our customers, at times some heavy lifting will be involved.



Key Skills:




  • You must have completed a minimum of 40 hours of CPC training

  • Current HGV Class 2 licence

  • Valid CPC card

  • Physically fit as some unloading is required
