As an evening shift loader, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):



· Maintaining health and safety regulations across the factory floor.



· Manual handling of glass



· The quality and cleanliness of glass.



· Pre loading sealed units ready for dispatch.



· Loading units on to stillages and loading vehicles.



· Cleanliness of the finished product.

The Role - Warehouse Operative – Day Shift:



We are looking for a Day Shift Warehouse Operative to assist and have a flexible approach in all aspects of the warehouse operation.



The shift pattern for this role will be Monday to Friday from 7.00am to 17.00pm, 45 hours per week.



We handle Sanitaryware, Tiles, Adhesives and Ironmongery prepare mixed pallets for loading into our Vehicles in the evenings.

Requirements for the Warehouse Operative:



Experience and Licences:




  • Builders Merchants Sanitaryware, Tiles, Adhesives and Ironmongery: 2 years (Required)

  • 2 years Forklift Truck experience is Desirable

  • Forklift Licence (Desirable) reach truck and counterbalance licences



Personal Qualities:




  • Honest and reliable with good time keeping skills

  • You must live close to Chadwell Heath for easy access to the warehouse

  • Physically fit and able to lift weights of up to 25kg safely

  • Able to work Monday – Friday

  • Able to speak clear and fluent English and write English to a good standard

  • A good team player

  • Attention to detail

  • Good communication skills

The Retail Sales Assistant will be required to engage with customers and other team members to provide exceptional customer service through your enthusiasm and knowledge.
