The Role:
We are seeking a motivated individual who is looking for a new challenge in a Purchasing and Product Development role.
The ideal candidate should have excellent computer and communication skills, as well as a positive approach to problem solving, knowledge of Excel, and great numeracy skills and logic.
Responsible for the purchase ordering, collation, and shipping of our extensive tile range from our large overseas supplier base, this role is instrumental in the successful sales of our large Tile Portfolio for 17 Showrooms Nationwide.
Reporting directly to the purchasing manager, you will run day-to-day reports, determine purchasing needs, place orders, and collate goods for various shipping methods according to stock urgency, availability, etc.
As a fashion/trend-led industry, there is also ongoing input and research into future trends, new product development, so this would suit an individual with an interest in interiors. Likewise, as trends decline, it is as important to reduce stock exposure to slower-selling lines, therefore, analytical skills are very useful.
Merchandising cover for our various websites and sampling activity is also part of the role, including packing samples for consumers, architects, and interior designers.
This is a varied role and will suit an individual with a can-do attitude to getting things right in a fast-paced building industry environment.

What will the HGV Class 2 Driver do?
