The RUBI Group was founded in Rubí, Barcelona, thanks to the invention of the first manual cutter for hydraulic mosaic tiles by the Boada brothers in 1951. This new tool, which was given the name RUBI, served as a launch pad for the development of a solid business group specialising in the design, manufacture and distribution of machinery and tools for cutting, installing and maintaining ceramic tiles. Today the RUBI brand has a presence in more than 120 countries, aiming to provide outstanding tile cutting machines and tile fixing equipment to tile fixing professionals.
